Applications

Families begin the admissions process by touring our school to learn more about our method and philosophy of education. Montessori is a unique and specialized environment. We have found it best to invite parents to experience it themselves in order to consider the program. We politely request no children be in attendance. Please contact us to set up a tour.

Upon completion of the tour, complete and return your application, accompanied by a non-refundable $50 application fee.

No child will be considered for admission until the tour is complete, and the application and application fee are received.

Availability

Our Toddler Program is currently full for the 2023-2024 school year. If you would like to apply for the waitlist, contact our Program Director to schedule a tour. We enroll students from our waitlist throughout the year as space is available.

Our Preschool classrooms currently have spots available for 2023-2024.

New Child Visit

Once a spot has been offered to your child, the next step in the admission process is a New Child Visit. This time of observation allows the family to see how our Montessori classrooms work, and it gives our teachers the opportunity to interact with your child.

During your child’s visit, families meet with the Program Director and Executive Director to learn about the operations, procedures, and expectations of the East Lake Montessori community.

Enrollment

After completion of the new child visit, and pending acceptance from both parties — the school and family — an offer for enrollment is made. 

Families are required to attend the New Student and All Parent Orientations prior to the beginning of the school year. All fees, deposits, and completed forms, including an up-to-date medical record, must be in the office before a child can begin his/her first day of school.
